Radar for BlackBerry has a new feature to keep you in touch with new pictures and videos--background updates! The application will regularly check the server (you decide how frequently) and automatically refresh the content in the different views. In addition, you can choose to enable system pop-up prompts when new content is available, keeping you up to date even when Radar is hidden and running in the background. Download the new version today from http://radar.net and check out the new Settings in the Updates category.
Finally, Radar for Windows Mobile is now out of "beta". With this release, we now support both Smartphone/Classic and Pocket PC/Professional devices. You can use your keyboard or your stylus to interact with the Radar mobile application, including those devices with both input modes and rotating screens. Envious of your iPhone-toting friends? With Radar, you simply tap and drag on the screen to scroll the contents- no scrollbars!
We'll be working hard to make sure we support as many popular phones as we can with Radar. If you don't see a download available, keep checking back, and don't hesitate to drop us an email or a comment to let us know!

THE BEST
November 14, 2007it would be really nice if you could introduce a feature that accessed our posting gllary from another site. ie. so on my blog or myspace. or whatever. and it automatically would update the stream if i posted to my radar. honestly, that's what i was told the feature you had and the only reason i signed up, now that i know you don't have it, i doubt i'll be using your service.
there's no way i'm going to invite/ask my friends to join this service. they might do so on their own accord if they saw what cool features it has by peeping it on my other various blogs/myspace/community services. but i doubt they'll join another one and i'm not going to be the one to spam their emails.
you're service is a nifty idea, i just think you need to take it to the next level.

If you log into Radar on your desktop computer, then go to Settings, and then click on the "Channel Embed" tab, you'll find the code to embed Radar into your blog or Myspace page (or any place you can paste some HTML code!). Pictures you post must be public in order for them to appear in the player. You can make pictures public from your computer or on your phone from the Radar website or with the mobile app. Or, add the letter "w" (as in viewable by everyone in the "w"orld) at the beginning of the subject line of your MMS post and it will be public immediately upon submission.

Great idea for the iPhone. I have a friend who is obsessed with features and they will be delighted to hear about your service for their phone.
