We're very pleased to announce an important addition to the Radar team: Grammy-winning producer, solo artist, and Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am has joined us as a special advisor. will announced the collaboration early this morning in Barcelona at the 2008 Mobile World Congress.
We first met will a few months ago as we prepared to launch the Radar Gallery. What started as a discussion about a promotion for the Black Eyed Peas immediately exploded in a dozen directions: will immediately understood what we're building in Radar, and how it could weave through his many music, fashion and technology projects.
As the conversations continued it became clear that something more than a promotion was in order, and we proposed a more official collaboration. He graciously accepted, and we're already at work on a number of projects.
Expect to see some ground-breaking interactions between you and many of the music acts will is involved with: behind-the-scenes access, personal content, and real-time conversations, all in-line with the experiences you're sharing with your friends.
The Gallery will transform in the coming months to accommodate these channels and a whole slate of new partners. Stay tuned.
And welcome to the team, will. We're glad you're here.
